Special games to me

  1. Dwarf fortress

First colony management game ive played. I have so much fun just admiring my growing colony, adding buildings and workshops. Making defenses for the eventual raid. I could really play this game forever. The new graphics update is incredible too, though I have a soft spot for the old ascii graphics, as its what ive played with the most withf.
  2. Doom (1993)

I didnt grow up with this or anything but it is my comfort game. Its always nice to log onto Doom World and see what people are up too, and playing the amazing mods ppl have made. My two absolute favorite so far is Sunlust and Time tripper.
  3. The Finals

The most recent game ive played to have been regarded as one of my 'special' ones. I had so much hype for this game when it first came out, and it really lived up to it. The crazy explosions, theme, weird gamemode, and fast paced team-play really hits it home for me. Though im not into it as much as I first started, I still check in and see whats going on from time to time.
  4. Towerclimb

This game is the most influential to me out of any in this list. Its the first roguelike that I was commited enough to beat. The graphics are beautiful, the secrets are amazing, the music is phenomenal. Alot of love was put into this game and it shows. Its hard as hell and took me a loooong time to beat, but every step felt like an accomplishment. Its what got me into gamedev.
  5. Castle story

My first computer game ever! I used to play this for hours and hours, making castles digging holes, and watching my lil peoples, it felt magical. Looking back at it, it lacks in content and things to discover, though as a kid I didnt mind. Such a shame its no longer being worked on, it could have been great.
  6. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

I used to play this religiously with my group of friends, it was tons of fun :3. Smash was my introduction to fighting games in general so I can appreciate it for that. I am tired of it from playing it sooo much. After this I moved onto Rivals of aether!! which i enjoy more. But! smash bros is what started my love for fighting gamez.
  7. Roller Coaster Tycoon

THIS is my childhood game.. I have spent sooo much time making death coasters, stupid mazes, and expensive bathrooms. I have so many fond memories with this game, itl always have a place in my puppy heart uwu. The game is old now so it might have troubles running on newer systems, OpenRCT2 helps fix that (though u need the game still). Rct is a classic for me.

Games I like!

  1. Vintage story

Very good block game centered around survival and thriving. I was expecting a "minecraft clone", but this game honestly beats minecraft for me. Its incredibly fun and pawsome.
  2. Spelunky 2

The classic roguelike, scratches the same itch as towerclimb! Just in a more casual and fun way. The game is still a big challenge to beat! The first is awesome but the second is the one that rlly clicked with me.
  3. Repo

Tons of fun with friends! Excited to see Semiwork expand on it!
  4. Ufo 50

This is like one of those dream gamedev ideas that actually came to life. The games are all so phenomenal and inspire me alot!
  5. Satisfactory

Incredible and very pretty factory game. Theres alot with it and you can get rlly creative with how you setup your factories!
  6. Cogmind

Has a super super cool concept of replacing your body parts with ones you find. Which can change the way you play signifigantly. The aesthetics are awesome and the gameplay is top notch.
  7. Rimworld

Very awesome colony sim, the graphics are charming and the gameplay is addicting, and there is alot to do in here! While playing I find myself caring alot about my colonist, and being invested in making them as happy as can be lol.
  8. Crawl

Another game thats tons of fun with friends, Its a very creative and cool idea that works! And is creativly balanced so no single player can get too far ahead. Paws up!
  9. Hyper demon

Insanely juicy, fast paced game with visuals ive never seen in any other game. Very satisfying to play and improve at!
  10. Thumper

Another game thats very satisfying to play and improve at, with visuals ive never seen in any other game! Its like a rythm game but with alot of stress and speed.
  11. Nidus

Arcade game where you work with a friend to help each other survive. Its a very cool idea thats excecuted well! PLUS the art of the game is amazingly animated and craazy.
